 Kenny Ingram Director/Choreographer has been creating theatre for the past 24 years assiting such greats as Hal Prince, Susan Stroman, and Frank Galati. Kenny worked as the Dance Captain for Showboat with Susan Stroman and then was promoted to Assistant Resident director for Showboat. He choreographed for Mr. Galati at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago. Kenny most recently directed and choreographed the first regional Production of FUNNY GIRL at Maine State Music Theatre.

Kenny directed and choreographed Triple Threat Off Broadway at Theatre Row starring and written by James T. Lane which received 5 Audelco Nomination. Kenny was nominated for Direction and a win for Mr. Lane for Best Solo Performer. Kenny received a Joseph Jefferson for his Best Director of a Revue for Blues in the Night at Chicago’s Porchlight Music Theatre and He also received a Black Theatre Alliance Award for Best Choreography for Blues in the Night.

Regionally, Mr. Ingram directed and choreographed 9 to 5 at Maine State Music Theatre, The Wiz at New Bedford Festival Theatre and Cinderella at Theatre by the Sea. Kenny Choreographed Off Braodway’s New York Times Critic Pick Emojiland at The Duke Theatre on 42nd, Till, The Musical the story of Emmett Till at Signature Theatre and Turtle on a Fence Post at Theatre 555. Kenny choreographed Disney’s Jolly Holiday at Paper Mill Playhouse, and The Wiz at The Fulton which he received a choreography award from Broadway World and The Wizard of Oz at Chicago Shakes. Kenny is a board member for Porchlight Music Theatre, a member of the Callaway Awards for SDC and recently diving into leading as an Artistic Producer. Last spring Kenny made his debut choreographing Carole King’s Beautiful at Paramount Theatre in Aurora.
